A restaurant has invested £500,000 and created 15 jobs with the opening of a new gin and cocktail lounge.

Millside restaurant in Cloughmills, Co Antrim, has been operating since 2004 and this latest investment has increased its capacity from 40 to 100 customers.

The new social space will allow it to serve up a range of cocktails including new signature the Millside Half-Million.

Stephanie Gray, owner of Millside, said: "Since we opened in 2004, we've worked hard to deliver first class food to our customers.

"This has paid off with the reputation we've earned in the local area and we felt that the time was right to expand the premises to offer something a little bit different.

"We are really excited about our new space and can't wait to show it off to existing and new customers."
